Dr. DeForge is Editor of the Veterinary Radiowave Radiosurgery Journal. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry; a Fellow of the World Academy of Radiosurgery, an Affiliate of the Academy of General Dentistry, and Medical Director of the Silver Sands Primary and Urgent Care Center in Milford, CT. He is co-editor of An Atlas of Veterinary Dental Radiology and an Adjunct at Mercy College. He is a prolific writer and has been penned with the pseudonyms of "teacher, advocate, and preacher" for the general practitioner in methods of restoring quality of life and removing oral pain. Dr. DeForge is known as an innovator in oral bone augmentation techniques in oral conditions in the companion animal as well as an advocate and mentor/instructor of veterinary oral Radiowave Radiosurgery techniques. He has developed a new surgery protocol, Feline Stomatitis Radiowave Radiosurgery, which permanently eliminates the Feline Stomatitis painful oral condition and restores quality of life to all felines who have suffered from this terrible disease. Dr. Sherman is Editor of the Radiowave Radiosurgery Journal. Jeffrey A. Sherman, DDS, FICD, FACD, is presently the Executive Director of the World Academy of Radiosurgery, past President of the American Academy of Dental Electrosurgery, a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Electrosurgery as well as a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, and the International College of Dentists. Dr. Sherman has been closely involved with the research and development of electrosurgery in the dental profession. He has carried out research and clinical trials in his private practice in Oakdale, New York and has published three textbooks, “Oral Electrosurgery-An Illustrated Clinical Guide”, “Oral Electrosurgery-State of the Art Radiosurgery”, “Oral Radiosurgery”, a video entitled, “Oral Electrosurgery- State of the Art Radiosurgery”, in addition to numerous articles in international journals. . Dr. Sherman has lectured at dental schools and meetings throughout the world, including Yale University, New York University, Tufts University, Louisiana State University, Cairo University, and Seoul Dental Institute.
